This 10-CD set, Anthology of Classic Articles - Audio Edition, is a compilation of 46 inspiring and uplifting essays about God and His loving relationship with each one of us. Presented in audio format for the first time, these articles were drawn from the more than 50,000 published in The Christian Science Journal and the Christian Science Sentinel between 1908 and 1981. They were selected with the help of a group of Christian Science teachers and practitioners, who cited these articles as being especially valuable in the healing practice. The nine readers on these recordings are men and women who are teachers of Christian Science.
Mary Baker Eddy, the Discoverer and Founder of Christian Science, first published Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, her textbook on Bible-based Christian healing, in 1875. In 1883, she began publishing The Christian Science Journal, a monthly magazine, and the weekly Christian Science Sentinel in 1898, to document and share the inspiration and results of this effective spiritual healing method as practiced by Christian Scientists around the world. These magazines continue to be published today.
