This Anthology of Classic Articles is a compilation of inspiring and uplifting essays about God and His loving relationship with each one of us. These articles were drawn from the more than 50,000 published in The Christian Science Journal and the Christian Science Sentinel between 1908 and 1981. They were selected with the help of a group of Christian Science teachers and practitioners, who cited these articles as being especially valuable in the healing practice.
Mary Baker Eddy, the Discoverer and Founder of Christian Science, started the monthly Journal in 1883, and the weekly Sentinel in 1898, to help proclaim the message that spiritual laws of healing, as practiced by Christ Jesus, are forever accessible to humanity. For more than 100 years these magazines have documented effective spiritual healing as demonstrated by Christian Scientists. This Anthology represents a step in making the resources from past issues of the magazines more broadly available.
