Foreword
During the Centennial Year of the discovery of Christian Science a series of twelve articles was presented in The Christian Science Journal and the French and German editions of The Herald of Christian Science on certain aspects of the distinguished lifework of Mary Baker Eddy. This book is a reprint of those articles.
Each article was written by an outstanding Christian Scientist whose individual background and experience qualified him or her to bring our something of the many-faceted experiences of the Discoverer and Founder of Christian Science.
It would be impossible for any book to deal adequately and in total with the diversity of talents and abilities which characterizes Mrs. Eddy's extraordinary lifework. Her abilities as an author, as a preacher, as a practitioner in the healing ministry, as an organizer and leader of a great religious movement, all shine through the articles in this series, but they only hint at the significance of her lifework and her great contribution to all mankind.
